Unit 4 Project Wiki
This Wiki shows how i can goal set and work efficiently to achieve a task. For this project, I decided to work with another student. In order to do this, i had to plan, goal set, and use my time efficiently. I found that the best way to do this was to use my wiki sandbox to put it all together. But all of this putting together had to begin at one point. That is why my evidence for self knowledge is the Unit 4 project wiki.

Technology Tools

Demonstrates growth and competence in:
media (text, audio, and video production tools), productivity tools (presentation, statistical, database),
communication tools, email, chat, discussions, telephone, texting, networking tools, web, integration of platforms and applications
Hamiltonian vs. Jeffersonian Prezi
My Prezi shows my Technology skills through my ability to create a well-organized Prezi. Estelle, Garrett, and I were chosen to create a Prezi on Hamiltonian vs. Jeffersonian views. While Estelle, Garrett, and I were all in charge of gathering information, one of my responsibilities was organizing the information into a Prezi. I found a new strength in presenting and creating effective and well-flowing Prezis. I decided to choose to create this Prezi as a example of my Technology Tools because it is one of my best presentations as well as my favorite. I wouldn't be able to create this effectively without pertaining the skills of Technology Tools.

Communication Process

Demonstrates growth and competence in:
public presentation of self, interpersonal relationships (peers, family, teachers, mentors), public speaking

Unit4 Sanbox

This Sandbox shows my communication ability with others through technology. For the Unit 4 project of Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad, I decided to work together with Estelle Reich. Because we didn't have time to work together like Teamtime or at home, I created a Sandbox wiki page that included our research pages as well as the Prezi we were collaborating on to present.I enjoyed the ease of colaborating without having to physically be in the same room. However, I didn't like how long it took for eachother too change something or communicate through the internet. I worked because i was able to work effectively with someone on a project while being miles away. I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without having communication skills and the ability to use technology.

Collaboration and Community

Demonstrates growth and competence in:
workplace expectations/skills/abilities, workplace resources, collaboration and teamwork, decision making, problem solving, creativity, navigating the community,
civic engagement (leadership, social skill, politeness, task skill, helpfulness, diversity, clarity, success of outcomes)

My final piece of evidence is my Thomas Jefferson power point. This not only shows how I have used communicating with my peers in class but also while presenting. For my Thomas Jefferson final, my personal goal was to communicate best with my peers during the presentation. I did this by including questions during my presentation, interactive learning, as well as some humor to keep my audience hooked and paying attention. I would not have been able to accomplish any of this without using the Collaboration and Community skills that i possess.

Research and Assessment Tools
